My First Crochet Scarf
It's just like me to start a winter project in the middle of winter and not finish until spring arrives. At least, that's exactly what I did with this scarf! I decided it was time to try a new project this winter and was curious about the whole crochet craze, so a scarf seemed like a good place to start. It was actually quite easy to make and was really just a matter of repetition. I especially love the chunky texture and the soft sparkles woven through the wool. It's the perfect gift idea for someone - next time I might just need to plan ahead slightly. If you would like to give it a go, I used Patons Stella wool from Spotlight and a 7mm crochet hook and got the pattern from a YouTube video which I've linked.
Happy crocheting!
