Stitching Cherry Badges

So I'm up to my usual tricks stitching yet another Cath Kidston badge. Since I managed to lose one recently (I strongly suggest using a decent craft glue when attaching stitching to a badge clip) I decided I couldn't help but make yet another. These badge patterns are so versatile and can be used in many ways other than just as a badge. One I'd like to sample is in the front of a card. I'm thinking a simple square cut out in the front would work perfectly to frame these cute cherries, and make such a thoughtful birthday card. It would be such a nice thought to give someone a card complete with the equipment to turn the stitching into something else afterwards whether it be a badge, magnet or even something that can be kept in a frame. It also means the effort put into a hand made card is not lost. This is definitely something I need to experiment with soon.
