Dec 9 The Big Design Market

After much anticipation, The Big Design Market finally happened and it certainly lived up to my expectations! It was the perfect market for buying Christmas presents and I walked away with some gorgeous necklaces from both Emily Green and Sollis. Given they are presents, I don't want to give away all of the surprises at once, however I may have bought the Tiffany and Deliah necklaces from Emily Green (I'm terribly hopeless at keeping secrets). I am getting pretty excited about all of my pastels for summer, so an Emily Green necklace is a natural addition to my wardrobe (and a lucky someone who is getting one for Christmas).

I loved the hanging origami installation in the centre of the Royal Exhibition Building - such an awesome idea and something I'd like to try myself. There were so many stall holders it was hard to cover them all, and to top things off, Taco Truck, Beat Box Kitchen and Miss Chu's were all at the event dishing up their well known favourites. It was an all round success in my books and I'm certainly looking forward to The Big Design Market 2014.
